Llanes

Llanes sits on the craggy coastline at the eastern end of the Asturian ‘Costa Verde’ nestled beneath the mountains of the Sierra de Cuera. A traditional fishing town, with some parts untouched since medieval times, Llanes is now a popular resort for Spanish tourists and as such can be very lively indeed in the summer. Well placed to explore Asturias, the Picos and western Cantabria and with three beaches in the town its popularity is easily understood!
