The Spanish Cornwall?

From Playa la Franca at the Cantabrian border in the east to the city beach in Gijon, eastern Asturias is a beach-hopper's dream. No end of rocky coves make some draw comparisons with Cornwall and there are lovely sandy beaches such as Barro, La Isla and Rodiles, popular with tourists and locals alike. Very few beaches in the region have any significant development, just lovely natural settings with the mountains as the perfect backdrop!
