Not so tough as the lofty Picos de Europa just behind, coastal Cantabria offers some excellent walks for all abilities among its rolling green hills. Try the Escudo ridge from San Vicente del Monte with great views down to the coast, the excellent walks in the Saja-Nansa valleys or take a stroll along by the beach in the spectacular Oyambre nature park - the possibilities are endless!
