General Description
A C17th farmhouse, in the small village of Pruneda, in the heart of cider country in central Asturias, has recently been sympathetically converted into three attractive holiday homes with a swimming pool shared between them.

Maintaining traditional features, the cottages are tastefully and comfortably furnished, attractively decorated and very well equipped, the owners accustomed to English tastes.

All cottages have their own gardens or sitting out space with views onto the village, fields and hills and the Picos mountains beyond.

Lying in gently, undulating countryside, Pruneda, has a bar, serving barbeques at the weekends and the nearest shops and facilities are at three kilometres at Nava and there is a good choice of country restaurants nearby.

The fantastic Playa de Rodiles is a forty minute drive away and there are many marked walking trails within easy reach from the properties. The owners can provide information and give advice about these.

From this, front door opens into living room with an open fireplace, sitting and dining areas and well equipped kitchen corner. Off this a bathroom and a utility room.

Up wooden staircase to landing and large bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom and french doors onto balcony.

NB Owners prefer Saturday start day during the summer school holidays (July 13 - Aug 31).

3. Canoeing and rafting on the Rio Sella at Arriondas.
4. Good restaurants in the local area. Cider bars in Nava and Villaviciosa.
5. Several interesting palaces in the vicinity including Palacio del Cutre which is an upmarket restaurant and the romanesque church at Villamayor.
6. Visit Gijón, Aviles and Oviedo — three fantastic cities, very different in style to each other.
7.Visit Lastres — a fascinating port and town on the "Dinosaur" coast and the Museo Juraisico there.
8.Lovely beaches within forty minutes. Playa de Rodiles, a must.
9. Golf course at Villaviciosa.
