Perched above the far end of a cul de sac, in a quiet residential area of attractive, modern houses in the coastal village of La Griega, this stylish, spacious, detached, architect designed house is ideal for those wanting a traditional seaside holiday with the gentle pace of country life.

With comfortable and attractive modern furniture, it has a wonderful feeling of light and the distribution of the bedrooms and bathrooms on two floors provides space for everyone.

Very well and tastefully equipped, you will find almost everything you need here.

Set in its own fully enclosed, lovely, landscaped garden, its large, covered, front terrace provides plenty of space to soak in the splendid views of the Sierra del Sueve.

It is in a unique position with the fantastic beach, Playa "La Griega", reached down a country lane (a fifteen minute walk) and the interesting old town of Colunga with shops and restaurants much nearer. Just a little further afield is the fascinating old town and port of Lastres on the "Dinosaur" coast where you can feast on fishy delights!

Accommodation Description
From the garden and tiled terrace to front door which opens into the entrada with a piano. Off entrada into spacious open plan living room with a high ceiling. Sliding glass doors at the side and front open onto large covered terrace.

From the entrada, there is the fully fitted kitchen/diner with a door onto the garden at the back. Off kitchen, there is a pantry and utility room.

A passage leads from the entrada to three bedrooms (3 twins, one with an ensuite bathroom) and a bathroom with shower unit.

Up wood stairs to open plan landing which looks down onto the living room.

Off this, three bedrooms (one triple, one twin and one double (two singles pushed together) with ensuite bathroom and one bathroom.

1. Beach Playa La Griega – Only 900 m. away - this is a fantastic beach, accessible on foot down a lovely lane. Other great beaches at Lastres or La Isla, are a short drive away.
2.Wander round the delightful town and port at Lastres and the elegant resort of Ribadesella.
3. Visit Oviedo and Gijon — two very interesting cities, very different to each other. The stately architecture of Oviedo contrasts with the port spirit of Gijón.
4. Picos de Europa National Park — 45 minutes drive from the house, this is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe.
5. Walking — Sierra del Sueve and Sierra del Fitu, with fabulous views of the coast and the Picos de Europa.
6. Visit the Museo Jurasico, literally just down the road.
7. Impressive “bufones” in Pría, near Llanes — observe at first-hand the strength of the sea: the waves shoot up from underground caves and come out through holes made thousands of years ago.
8. Enjoy the local gastronomy, especially the delicious fish and seafood at the nearby port of Lastres.
9.Visit the impressive caves of Tito Bustillo near Ribadesella.
10. Go canoeing on the nearby Rio Sella. Central/partial heating is available: Yes
