La Revilla

With Comillas to one side, San Vicente de la Barquera to the other and the sandy beaches of the Natural Park of Oyambre within easy reach, La Revilla is perfectly located for exploring all Cantabria's varied attractions.

The village has a bar/restaurant and an 18-hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros. A country lane leads down to Playa de Merón which is part of the long stretch of beaches that make up this part of the Cantabrian coastline.

The lovely old town of Comillas is only four kilometres away. Here you will find lots of shops, restaurants, bars, banks, a tourist office and a busy Friday market.

Comillas beach is long and sandy, very ‘seasidey’ with its esplanade, while the pretty walled harbour makes a good walk with splendid views along the coast, the comings and goings of the fishing boats an extra fascination.

Town and beach have a relaxed holiday feel about them – and fairly bustle in July and August.
