El Quintanal, Cantabria

Abanillas | Ref: ABA1 | Bedrooms: 3 | Sleeps: 7

Cheerful, detached modern house in quiet complex near fantastic beaches and mountains.

A modern, detached house in a small, quiet complex (twelve houses in all) in the peaceful farming village of Abanillas, tucked happily between the mountains and the sea in western Cantabria.

With traditional stone and wood features and rustic tiled floors throughout, it is light, cheerful and comfortable and very well maintained. Castellano style furniture mixes with more modern to create a cosy, homely feel.

The fully enclosed garden with views looking over fields to the hills is great for children to play in and with a fixed barbeque and patio area, great for outdoor meals.

You are very well placed here for a country cum seaside holiday with a fantastic choice of beaches less than fifteen minutes away and the attractive fishing port and summer resort of San Vicente de la Barquera, even nearer.

Delightful country walks and drives with superb views of the Picos de Europa are right on your doorstep and good value family run restaurants in the surrounding villages and on the coast are an extra bonus.
