With one other house next door, on the edge of the village of San Martino de Meis with Romanesque church and a bar and a shop, in the lovely area of O Salnes in the Rias Baixas, you are in real Albarino wine country here with the delightful, historical capital, Cambados, a short drive - the road which whisks you quickly to all the region's attractions is not far away.
With superb sandy beaches and water sports, a fifteen minute drive, bodegas galore dotted round the countryside, lovely river walks virtually on your doorstep, a great golf course nearby and the cities of Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra and Vigo in less than an hour, you are in an enviable location!
Accommodation DescriptionFront gate (electrically controlled) opens into the large, fully enclosed grounds. Paved drive and terrace and horreo (traditional grain store). Patio at one side with steps down to another enclosed patio area with BBQ. From drive to lawn and down steps to a further lawn with lemon and orange trees.
Front door opens into a spacious, open plan living room/fully fitted kitchen with door onto balcony and patio with BBQ.
From this room, there is a passage which leads to a bathroom and two double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom) and one twin bedroom, all with balconies.
Down stairs (safety gate) to another bathroom and a downstairs sitting room with a double sofa bed (this could easily be used as a bedroom). Access from this floor to patio with BBQ.

San Martino has a C12th church, a small shop, a bar, a chemist's and a clinic. One of the attractive walking routes in the area "Pedra e da Auga" along the Rio de San Martino passes through the village.
For wine lovers there are numerous bodegas to visit in the region, but your closest are Bodegas Mar de Frades, Laureatus and Pazo Cilleiro.
The imposing C12th monastery of Santa Maria de Armenteira is just a ten minutes drive and the golf course "Campo de Golf de Meis" is just twelve kilometres away.
Barrantes at just over one kilometre, well known for its red wine and wine festival, has more facilities, including several restaurants.
The delightful, historical, coastal town of Cambados, capital of the wine region and gastronomic centre for seafood is a twelve minute drive.
Fantastic sandy beaches, including the famous Playa de Lanzada are a tiny bit further.
