La Casita de Pilar, Galicia
Saians | Ref: GVIG1 | Bedrooms: 3 | Sleeps: 6Spectacular views from this charming seaside home - beach & restaurant just down the lane.
Too wonderful not to share, they decided to offer this property and three others which are set in their lovingly landscaped and nurtured gardens, right on the coast, looking out to the magical Islas Cies, to those wanting a complete break from the stress and worries of modern times. Just the sunsets alone - never one the same and the benign micro-climate of the Rias Baixas in Galicia, will take your troubles away.
La Casita de Pilar, the largest of these very well maintained, attractively decorated, furnished and equipped properties, standing right on the edge of the rocks, commanding excellent sea views, is very comfortable and cosy in all weathers.
The properties and 3000m2 of enclosed shared grounds are in a small, pretty, residential area, facing the coast. The little local beach and restaurant are a very short walk and the nearest shop and another beach a tiny bit further.
Not far away is La Playa de Patos, great for surfing, Monte Ferro, good for walking, and just beyond the laid back (but lively in summer) resort of Panxón, with a lovely horseshoe bay with typical bars and restaurants, serving seafood delights.
The city of Vigo is a fifteen minute drive and Santiago de Compostela an hour away.
N.B. The owners several pets. They will accept pets.
N.B.2 The owners prefer two-week bookings in the summer

There is good walking just inland and within twenty minutes you can be in the thriving port of Vigo or historic Baiona, the first town to hear news of Columbus' discovery of America when the Pinta arrived there in 1493.
The village has a supermarket and a restaurant and a bar/restaurant above the beach, but for more amenities, the seaside town of Panxon is just three kilometres.
