At the entrance to the Valley of Liebana El Corcal, recently built in the traditional style, this hotel is a great base from which to discover the eastern side of the Picos and is well placed for trips down to the coast or to visit the Asturian side too.

Tama, North Spain

Driving south into the Picos de Europa from the coast, as the vertiginous Gorge of La Hermida opens out into the Valley of Liebana, Tama is the first village the visitor comes upon. Its friendly bars and restaurants make an ideal stop for a break and you feel that you’ve arrived to the Picos ‘proper’.Just 5 minutes’ drive from Potes and very well communicated with the rest of the valley Tama is an excellent base from which to discover the Cantabrian side of the Picos.
