Casa de Ramon, Galicia

Galdo | Ref: GVIV8 | Bedrooms: 3 | Sleeps: 7

Traditional family home, lovely rural setting, beaches & lively Viveiro nearby.

Up a quiet lane in the farming hamlet of Galdo, Casa Ramón is a lovely, old stone, detached house standing in its own extensive grounds with an orchard and shrubs to one side and a patio/garden with barbeque area to the other with orange trees, palm trees and views to the hills.

The house itself is spacious and has been gently and lovingly restored to keep a traditional feel, but without sacrificing comfort and facilities. Furnished mostly with antiques and with interesting family pictures, this is a real home, at one time belonging to the owners' grandparents.

Though you are in real Galician countryside here with a very gentle pace of life and steeped in tradition, the lively town of Viveiro with its old quarter and the coast, dotted with superb sandy beaches, are a ten minute drive and the fantastic cities of Lugo, A Coruna and Santiago de Compostela all feasibly reached for a day out.
