Albariņo, Spain's best white

Set above the Atlantic facing estuaries and beaches of the Rias Bajas and along the valley of the Rio Miņo which forms the border with Portugal are the vineyards which provide one of Spain's finest white wines, Albariņo, within the denominacion of Rias Baixas. The wines produced are said to be similar to Gewurtsraminer, Riesling and Viognier and are of an exceptional standard given the favorable climate in southern Galicia, and what's good for the wine is good for the holiday maker!
