Refundable damage deposits are required on some properties, payable with the final payment. The amounts are indicated on specific properties - see Booking Conditions.
We offer a package to include return ferry crossings with Brittany Ferries or P&O Ferries. We can if required supply single journey ferry tickets. We ask that you make your ferry booking with us at the time of booking your property/hotel. But if you need to add a ferry booking later, phone or email us with details.
We strongly recommend that all holiday makers take out personal insurance, and for those travelling long distances by car we also advise a car breakdown insurance scheme. We advise that you organise insurance as soon as you book to protect against cancellation.
Bookings can be made following our on-line booking procedure, using the red “Book Now” button on the main accommodation page for each house or hotel.
Alternatively requests and enquiries are also welcomed by phone or email or by using our paper booking form which can be downloaded and printed out from our website and posted or faxed to us together with payment due.
All online bookings are subject to availability. Your booking remains provisional until confirmed; confirmation is normally within one working day (Mon-Friday). We advise caution in booking travel prior to receipt of confirmation. Start and departure dates are flexible; however bookings for self-catering properties should tie in with existing booking dates in the high and peak seasons.
To complete the on-line booking process you will need to have details of your party, a valid email address and your credit card details handy. Please note: You must include a valid email address or your booking will not be received. Details of all the people in the party must be provided.
A confirmation email will be sent to the nominated email address where details can be checked to ensure they have been correctly entered.
A deposit of 30percent of the accommodation cost and 20percent of ferry travel is due at the time of booking. Payment balances are due eight weeks before the start of the holiday. For bookings made eight weeks or less before the start of the holiday, full payments are due on booking.
Our secure payment service ensures that online payments are made securely. The padlock symbol on the status bar of your browser window ensures that this website is secure and that any sensitive information given is protected from being intercepted by unauthorised parties.
Credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) are subject to a 1.25% transaction charge. Debit card payments (Switch/Maestro, Delta or Connect) do not incur this charge.
The deposit payable will be debited from the payment card once the booking has been confirmed. The balance will be taken from the same card unless otherwise requested.
We try to be flexible wherever possible about days of arrival and departure; please ask about this when making your provisional enquiries.
Please note:
(a) Bookings which fall into two seasons are charged for accordingly.
(b) For a limited number of properties bookings in the High Season are for a minimum of two weeks.
(c) Additional days over one week are charged on a pro-rata basis.
(d) Short breaks - weekends andc or 3-5 day bookings. are available on some properties, (details are indicated on individual property pages of the website).
