A one hundred year old stone house of character, semi-detached, in the middle of the mountain farming village of Colio, near Potes, with excellent views of the valley below and the mountains beyond. Recently restored by its English owners to make a very comfortable "home from home", this house was built into the rock on a slope hence it is on two levels, with the living room and kitchen on the first floor and the bedrooms and the terrace on the ground floor. Artistically decorated, it has some interesting, unusual architectural features which enhance its charm. An ideal base for walkers and great for families and for writers and artists who can soak in the daily village life and the spectacular panorama beyond from the terrace.
