Porto de Espasante is a small fishing village which goes from quiet in the winter to lively in the summer. In July they host a Celtic folk festival and the town has numerous restaurants and bars that come alive for the summer season. The port side of town has a long protected sandy beach with a lifeguard within easy walking distance while the northern side of Espasante has another more exposed but just as beautiful beach that is a longer walk or short drive.
